What are Quadpack´s Ethical standards?
Quadpack takes care in choosing which companies are chosen as manufacturing partners. Fair treatment of workforce and compliance with the law of the relevant country is a basic requirement. Quadpack includes an ethical assessment of factories based on the ethical code of conduct when first approving them as a supplier and asks for factory management to commit to the code. Factory management should make staff aware of the code of conduct.
ETHICAL CODE OF CONDUCT:
1. Employment is freely chosen
2. Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining are respected
3. Working conditions are safe and hygienic
4. Child labour shall not be used
5. Living wages are paid
6. Working hours are not excessive
7. No discrimination is practised
8. Regular employment is provided
9. No harsh or inhumane treatment is allowed
