What are the benefits of using airless? - Air cannot get to the product, making it less likely to degrade quickly and therefore lower levels of preservative are possible.

How are airless filled? - Our airless containers can be filled using conventional filling equipment. They are all top filled and the pumps are either screw-on or snap-on. It really could not be much easier!

Do airless packs need to carry the PAO symbol? – No. In the European Union, the period-after-opening symbol is not required to appear on cosmetics products with a shelf life of 30 months or more.

Are airless packs suitable for formulas with little or no preservatives? – Absolutely. Formulas contained in airless packaging can contain two to five times less preservatives than those contained in non-airless packs. Use of expensive preservatives can cause dermatological reactions, while overuse can actually reduce their antimicrobial efficiency, so airless is ideal for low -preservative cosmetics.
