Quadpack’s double tubes are a hit at Packaging Innovations Birmingham 2011

Quadpack exhibited at Packaging Innovations in Birmingham, UK, for the third year running, demonstrating its range of existing packaging solutions and giving special previews of selected innovations currently under development. The exhibition, which took place at the NEC from 16-17 February 2011, attracted over 4,400 visitors.

“We were very impressed by the quality and number of visitors to our stand,” said Quadpack UK Director Mike Banister. “The show’s focus was first class and we had the opportunity to meet many targeted prospects and existing clients. In fact, the number of serious enquiries was amazing; particularly with regard to our new double tubes.”

The Quadpack double tube drew much attention at the NEC. This flexible pack is designed to deliver complementary products, featuring two tubes sealed by a single, shared cap at the centre. The double tube offers excellent price / performance while taking the pain out of a traditionally difficult filling process. Unlike any other double tube on the market, Quadpack’s model is designed with two detachable parts which can be filled separately on standard filling lines.

Quapack exhibited packaging solutions in glass, airless and make-up, while visitors were given a taste of things to come, with exclusive previews of innovations still in development. Among the airless advances was Finger Touch, Yonwoo’s new pack for the precise application of sensitive formulas. Finger Touch features a finger-shaped applicator and ergonomic actuator, making it easy to apply the product to the delicate eye area.

Branded packs on display included Biotherm Age Fitness Elastic in an airless twin chamber pack, the Nude pipette dropper, Sensilis’ minimalist dual-wall jar and Italian organic range Hino, contained in Yonwoo Jumbo airless packs.

Quadpack will next exhibit at the Polish and Swedish editions of the fair.
